Overview
Mr Mitchel Martin-Weber, a University of Tasmania alumnus, has funded this perpetual scholarship through a gift to the 2010 Annual Appeal to recognise his close friend Adrian La Palombara, a fellow University alumnus. The University, through its Foundation, provided a matching contribution to the scholarship.
Eligibility
- Available to a female student commencing Honours in physics or mathematics in Semester 1, 2024.
- When the scholarship is offered to a physics student, preference will be given for studies in the area of optical astronomy, however other areas will be considered.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
