Overview
The ‘Future You powered by ANL’ Scholarship in Global Logistics and Maritime Management is offered by ANL Container Line to support students undertaking study in global logistics and maritime management. ANL is a container shipping operator with its roots firmly planted in Australian soil. Originally owned by the Australian government, ANL was purchased by CMA CGM in 1998. CMA CGM is one of the leading container carriers in the world and is headquartered in Marseille, France. Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, ANL has enjoyed many years of significant growth. In 1998 ANL carried 72,000 TEU and in 2018 this number expanded to 1.16M. ANL’s core business is liner shipping however the organisation does offer broader solutions that include intermodal and value-added services.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who is commencing a Bachelor of Global Logistics & Maritime Management (P3E) in Semester 1, 2024 at the Australian Maritime College (AMC) who can demonstrate financial need.
- Preference will be given to students who are relocating from a remote or regional area of Australia to study on campus.
- Mentoring and work placement opportunities with ANL may be available for the successful applicant.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
