This scholarship was established by alumnus Mr Lawrence “Buz” Green AM (Buz Green) of Devonport to provide assistance to a student who is commencing a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at the University of Tasmania. Mr Green has based his long career in research and innovation in the application of science to achieve improved and sustainable outcomes in agricultural production.
Eligibility
Available to a student commencing full-time study in the Bachelor of Agricultural Science in Semester 1, 2021. Selection will be based on financial need and academic merit, with a preference for a Tasmanian student from a rural background who has a demonstrated history of extra-curricular experience or involvement in agricultural activities.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
