Overview
A number of access scholarships are available to students experiencing financial hardship who are commencing an Honours course through the College of Arts, Law and Education in Semester 1, 2024. Students will be considered for any of the scholarships below depending on their course and area of research.
Eligibility
- Selection will be based upon demonstration of financial need, with academic merit (grade point average across the second and particularly the third year of study in the chosen discipline) considered as a secondary criterion.
- Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of research strength in line with the College's research capacity and strength as provided by the research proposal (for ideas see the advertised projects for Creative Arts and Media, Humanities and Social Sciences).
- Applicants must contact their School Honours Coordinator prior to applying to ensure the availability of an appropriate supervisor and the capacity of the relevant School to provide support for the proposed project.
- Engaging with the School as a student ambassador is a condition of this award; the successful applicants will participate in events to promote Honours and will be invited to attend School meetings as student partners on occasion.
- A number of different scholarships are available to students undertaking an Honours course through the College of Arts, Law and Education in 2024.

Education Honours Access Scholarship
Humanities Honours Access Scholarship
Social Sciences Honours Access Scholarship

- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
