Overview
This scholarship is provided from a fund established by the late Harold Carroll, a retired grazier, to provide scholarships for deserving students educated in Devonport.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who has been educated in Devonport and is commencing study in any course at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2024.
- The selection committee will be seeking a student who:
- without the help of a scholarship might not be able to afford to go to university;
- is of good character and likely to be successful at university;
- has already contributed to the community or is likely to contribute to the community of Devonport over the longer term.
- In your application you should ensure that you detail how you meet the criteria for the award.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
