Overview
The School of Education offers a scholarship to support a Tasmanian resident student experiencing financial hardship who is commencing a Bachelor of Education with Honours (E4K). Engaging with the School as a student ambassador is a condition of this award; the successful applicant will participate in events to promote Honours and will be invited to attend School meetings as a student partner on occasion.
Eligibility
- This scholarship is available to students who are Tasmanian residents and are commencing a Bachelor of Education with Honours (E4K).
- Selection will be based upon demonstration of financial need, with academic merit (grade point average across the second and particularly the third year of study in the chosen discipline) considered as a secondary criterion.
- Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of research strength in line with the College's research capacity and strength as provided by the research proposal (for ideas see the advertised projects for Education).
- Applicants must contact their School Honours Coordinator prior to applying to ensure the availability of an appropriate supervisor and the capacity of the relevant School to provide support for the proposed project.
