Overview
Professor Emily Hilder has established two scholarships to recognise the positive impact her education at the University of Tasmania has had on her future opportunities. She would like to see all Tasmanians have the same opportunity to study. These scholarships also recognise her father, Alan Hilder OAM, his 30+ years volunteer service to Kennerley and his unwavering belief in the potential in young people to succeed when they are provided the support to do so.
Eligibility
- Available to students commencing undergraduate study at the University of Tasmania in any area of study in the first half of 2024.
- Selection will be based on evidence of financial need.
- Preference will be given to students from Kennerley House or The Smith Family leaning programs.
On-going Eligibility
- Must enrol in a minimum 37.5 credit points (full time) for each half year period

$5,000 per year

Up to four years (does not include separate one-year Honours course)
