Graeme Foster was an educationist for 63 continuous years - 42 with the Department of Education and 21 with the University of Tasmania. Graeme's inspirational leadership and commitment to education in Tasmania has encouraged Mr John Bowden, a director of the UTAS Foundation USA, to establish this scholarship in Graeme Foster's name.

Eligibility

Available to a student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate course in education. Applicants should have an interest in teaching students in the early years of their education (K-2). Preference will be given to a student whose permanent address is in the north-west of Tasmania and who demonstrates financial need.

$4,000 per year
