Overview
This scholarship was created in honour of Graham Flower who was a passionate and committed member of the Colony 47 board. In recognition of Graham’s legacy this scholarship supports students who are working in the areas of homelessness and supporting young people to succeed. Colony 47 is a solutions based Not-For-Profit organisation in the Tasmanian Community Sector. Colony 47’s Vision is to create a thriving, connected and diverse community where no one is left behind. Colony 47’s core focus is on providing support and solutions in the housing and homelessness and youth areas in the community.
Eligibility
- Available to a student enrolling in the final year of the Bachelor of Social Work with Honours or Master of Social Work (Qualifying) in 2024, who has been accepted into the research pathway.
- The research project must encompass priority areas identified by Colony 47, the priority areas for this year are homelessness, youth and mental health.
- Selection will be based on the quality of the proposed project and demonstration of academic merit.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
