Overview
The Governor of Tasmania is the patron of these prestigious scholarships, which are sponsored by local representatives of Tasmanian Industry.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who is commencing an honours or masters research project in 2024 in any area with demonstrated relevance to a Tasmanian environmental topic, where the outcomes can be used by industry.
- Applications will be assessed on academic merit, capacity to deliver proposed project outcomes, practical applications, study design and the environmental worth of the proposed research project.
- Applications will also be assessed on quality of the application, noting the target audience (Tasmanian industry).
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
- Undertake the research project for which they have been awarded the scholarship
