Overview
The School of Humanities offers up to 2 scholarships to support students experiencing financial hardship who are commencing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Chinese, Classics, English and Writing, Gender and Diversity, German, History, Indonesian, Japanese, or Philosophy. Engaging with the School as a student ambassador is a condition of this award; the successful applicants will participate in events to promote Honours and will be invited to attend School meetings as student partners on occasion.
Eligibility
- This scholarship is available to students commencing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (R4A) in a Humanities discipline.
- Selection will be based upon demonstration of financial need, with academic merit (grade point average across the second and particularly the third year of study in the chosen discipline) considered as a secondary criterion.
- Applicants must also demonstrate evidence of research strength in line with the College's research capacity and strength as provided by the research proposal (for ideas see the advertised projects for Humanities)
