This fund was first established in 1969 to assist needy students in the Faculty of Medicine in honour of J. Bruce Hamilton.
Eligibility
Available to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2023. Selection will be based on the applicant’s demonstration of financial need. Preference may be given to students who have to reside away from home in order to attend university or, because of family or other commitments, have to travel a significant distance to attend a university campus.

- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
