Overview
One scholarship has been endowed by the late Basil Griston in memory of his sister Joyce. Basil Griston was a champion for those less fortunate in the Tasmanian community and he gave significant support to the homeless and unemployed youth in Tasmania.
Eligibility
- Available to a commencing student to study any undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania.
- Selection is based on demonstration of financial need.
Students wishing to apply for this scholarship should apply for the Support to Study Scholarship
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

Up to five years (not including Honours)
