Overview
This scholarship is offered by the City of Launceston to residents of the Launceston municipality to assist them in undertaking study at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who lives in the Launceston municipality and is commencing any undergraduate degree course at the University of Tasmania in the first half of 2024.
- The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong academic record, evidence of financial hardship, and significant community involvement.
- They will be invited to a function at the Town Hall, Launceston, to recognise their achievement.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
