Overview
This award is generously provided by the Rotary Club of Somerset to a fourth year student at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School who demonstrates commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement. This student must continue their studies at the Rural Clinical School in 2024.
Eligibility
- This award is available to a fourth-year student who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery course at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School in 2023.
- Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement.
- This student must continue their studies at the Rural Clinical School in 2024.
- Should students not progress to final year, applications received will be automatically withdrawn.
- Successful candidates will be required to speak at the Rotary Club of Somerset regarding their study experiences.
