This scholarship has been endowed by the late Mrs Maida Beatrice Vimpany for graduates of the University of Tasmania engaged on some aspect of cancer research.
Eligibility
Available to a full time Honours student or Postgraduate research candidate engaged in any area of cancer research. The successful applicant must be a graduate of the University of Tasmania. The scholarship will be paid in two equal amounts each year unless required for fares for research overseas as detailed in application.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

Duration
One year Honours; up to 3.5 years for Postgraduate research candidates
