Overview
Michael and Kristen Meaney are from Sheffield in Tasmania’s north-west and have set up their scholarship to support local students who require financial assistance to continue their studies at a tertiary level.
Eligibility
Available to a commencing undergraduate student from the West or North West Coast of Tasmania (home postcode between 7304 to 7470) who can demonstrate financial need and a requirement to relocate to attend University. Preference is for a student who is first in their family to study at university, and for a student studying in Science or the Creative Arts.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
