Overview
The Tasmanian School of Medicine will provide up to 6 Honours scholarships annually to support students undertaking their Honours year. Research within the School aims to improve human health and well-being by performing excellent basic laboratory, clinical and population health research that focuses on the major diseases affecting the Tasmanian community. The research takes a bench-to-bedside and disease prevention approach and is aimed at improving the understanding of normal and disease processes, patient care and clinical outcomes for the community by translating knowledge into clinical and policy actions, and through the commercial application of discoveries. Eligibility
- Available to students commencing an Honours research course (M4G or M4N) in Semester 2, 2024 in the Tasmanian School of Medicine in any area of research undertaken by the School.
- These scholarships are provided to encourage excellent students to continue their study at Honours level.
- Students must have a minimum average of 70% for results in units completed in the third year of the undergraduate degree to be considered for this scholarship.
- Preference will be based on highest academic achievement if there are more applications than scholarships available.

- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
