Overview
The late Professor June Olley has made this scholarship available in memory of her aviator father, Gordon, who was one of the pioneers of British commercial aviation and reportedly the first person to fly one million miles.
Eligibility
- Available to a continuing or commencing student enrolling in any degree in the first half of 2024, whose study program relates in some way to the aviation/aeronautics industry.
- For students enrolling in the final two years of Medicine or final year of Nursing, there may be an opportunity to spend four weeks with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (subject to a placement availability). In this case, the scholarship would be fully applied to this activity.
- Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate a real interest in aviation.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

Up to $6,000 to be spent on aviation related activities.
