University of Tasmania Study Abroad and Exchange Scholarship

Overview

Study Abroad and Exchange Scholarships are designed to assist our current students with the costs associated with participating in one of the following Learning Abroad categories:

• Semester Based Study Abroad & Exchange Programs
• Short-Term Study Abroad & Exchange Programs
• Featured Exchange Partner University Programs
• Faculty-led International Programs
• Other approved Learning Abroad Programs
• Virtual Learning Abroad Programs

Eligibility

• Available to current students who will be undertaking a Learning Abroad program in the second half of 2024.
• To be eligible, students must have completed at least 50 credit points at the time of their Learning Abroad program start date, and not already receiving an overseas exchange scholarship which exceeds $2,000.
• As part of the selection process, GPA and quality of written application may be taken into consideration.
• Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate that the financial assistance would provide a greater opportunity to engage in their study abroad or exchange.
• Preference will be given to students traveling on a program approved by the Learning Abroad office.
• Preference will be given to students who were enrolled full time at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1 2024.
