Overview

The Tall Foundation was established by two University of Tasmania alumni to provide valuable support to areas of interest including scholarships. This award is funded through the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal. The honours scholarships, for Tasmanian devil research, are named in recognition of the work of the late Dr Eric Guiler in zoological teaching and research.

Eligibility

  • Available to students commencing Honours in Semester 1, 2024 in a research area specifically related to the vaccine research being undertaken to address the Devil Facial Tumour Disease currently affecting the Tasmanian devil population.
  • Selection will be based on academic merit and the quality of the research project.

On-going Eligibility

  • Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
