Overview
Mrs Bonnie Tilley has established two scholarships to recognise the encouragement she received from her mother to study at tertiary level. Her mother grew up on the west coast of Tasmania and had to travel significant distances to Hobart to attend high school and then teachers’ college. Mrs Bonnie Tilley has endowed these scholarships to help young Tasmanian women, particularly from rural areas, access higher education.
Eligibility
- Available to Tasmanian females, preferably from a rural area, commencing an undergraduate course at the University of Tasmania.
- Applicants should demonstrate the need for financial support in order to study.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

$5,000 per year
