Overview
This scholarship is provided by Timberlink Australia to assist enthusiastic engineering students in their studies at the University of Tasmania. Timberlink Australia operates two sawmills that process sustainably grown Australian plantation pine, one in Bell Bay, Tasmania and the other Tarpeena, South Australia. Timberlink Australia has a strong focus on developing local talent with apprenticeships, leadership mentoring and technical training programs.
Eligibility
- Available to a current student enrolled in the Master of Professional Engineering (Timber Design) in Semester 1, 2024.
- Selection will be based on enthusiasm, academic merit and quality of written application.
- Preference will be given to students entering the second or third year of their course in 2024.
- Work experience opportunities with Timberlink may be explored.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
