Overview
The Teach Tasmania Scholarship was developed with the Tasmanian Government to ensure our state has the quality teachers it needs for the future.
The Teach Tasmania Merit Scholarship is provided to Tasmanian residents who are studying a Masters of Teaching at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
- Available to commencing and current students who are either commencing or continuing study in a Master of Teaching in Semester 1, 2024.
- To be eligible students must:
- be a current Tasmanian resident;
- have completed their Undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania;
- commit to undertake their placements in Tasmanian public schools;
- and commit to studying full-time throughout the Master of Teaching
Amount
$4,000 per annum for up to two years, paid in 2 x $2,000 instalments after census dates in Sem 1 and Sem 2.
