Overview
The Wicking Centre aims to improve the lives of those affected by dementia through its internationally recognised research and education programs. The Wicking Centre will provide honours scholarships to support students undertaking their honours year with Wicking researchers working in the neuroscience field working on projects relating to dementia and related neurodegenerative disorders, including both basic laboratory and clinical research. The Wicking Centre takes a multidisciplinary approach across neuroscience and health services, with research focused on the cause and prevention of dementia as well as care of those living with dementia.
Eligibility
- Available to students commencing an Honours research course (M4G or M4N) in neuroscience at the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre in Semester 2, 2024.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
