This scholarship is not due to open for applications again.

This scholarship is generously provided by the estate of Clifford Caldwell to support students experiencing financial hardship and who without financial support may not be able to enrol or continue studies at the University. The award is offered as part of the University of Tasmania Access Scholarship scheme.

Eligibility

Available to both commencing and continuing students studying in an undergraduate degree at the University of Tasmania in Semester 1, 2025.

  • Selection will be based on demonstration of financial need.
  • Preference may be given to commencing students who have to reside away from home in order to attend university or, because of family or other commitments, have to travel a significant distance to attend a university campus.

    • Duration

    Up to five years (does not include separate one-year Honours course)
