Overview
The Cradle Coast Business Access Scholarship supports students commencing the Bachelor of Business or an approved business pathway program and undertaking their first year of study on campus at the Cradle Coast campus in Burnie. The scholarship aims to increase participation in business studies and support students who may face barriers to accessing higher education in the Cradle Coast region.
To be eligible, applicants must be commencing the Bachelor of Business or an approved business pathway program with the University of Tasmania for the first time in Semester 1 and enrolled in first-year units as an on-campus student. Recipients are expected to attend their scheduled classes on campus.
Students may apply for both the Merit Scholarship and the Access Scholarship, but cannot hold both at the same time. This scholarship cannot be deferred and must be commenced in the year of offer.
Eligibility
- Commencing a Bachelor of Business or Diploma of University Studies (Business) in Semester 1, 2027 at the Cradle Coast campus, for the first time
- Applicants must be studying on-campus at Cradle Coast
- Be enrolled full-time
- Selection will be based on demonstrated financial need and the overall quality of the written application
