Overview
Bank of us is the only Tasmanian customer owned bank, operating within Tasmania, for Tasmanians. The goal of this scholarship is to support and contribute to financial literacy across the Island, to help build vibrant, productive and self-sustaining communities in Tasmania. The successful recipient is encouraged to resource the University’s School engagement activities to enrich their professional development, and gain resources to further their understanding and employment of financial literacy methods.
Eligibility
- Available to students who are commencing or continuing studies in Teaching at the University of Tasmania.
- Selection will be based on the applicants understanding and expressed interest in teaching financial literacy once qualified and financial need.
- To be eligible students must be a current Tasmanian resident and intend to work in Tasmania after graduation.
- This scholarship is open to both domestic and international students.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
