Overview
The CCHF Future Health Leader Medicine Scholarship (Indigenous) is designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students who are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of communities in North and North West Tasmania. Funded by the Clifford Craig Health Foundation, the region’s leading health charity, this scholarship provides more than financial assistance. It offers an opportunity to build an early connection with the local health sector and become part of a pathway that supports the development of future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare leaders through education, research, and professional growth.
As a scholarship recipient, you will be encouraged to strengthen your leadership and research capabilities while exploring how your future career can contribute to improving healthcare outcomes across the region. The program aims to develop a pipeline of future health professionals who can support workforce sustainability, promote collaboration across disciplines, translate research into better patient care, and contribute to healthier communities across North and North West Tasmania.
