This scholarship is not opening for applications this year.
The late Dawn Albert generously donated a portion of her estate to the University to establish a Scholarship in perpetuity, which aims to support talented students studying Music at the Conservatorium of Music.
Eligibility
- Available to commencing and continuing students studying a Bachelor of Music at the University of Tasmania in 2024.
- Students enrolled in double degrees are eligible to apply.
- Selection will be based on financial need and demonstration of how the scholarship will contribute to you achieving success in Music.
- Preference will be given to students who have relocated to study their degree, have completed most of their schooling in Tasmania and/or are first in family to attend University.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

$5,000 per year up to 4 years (including Honours)
