Overview

The Geoffrey Evans Trust’s purpose is the encouragement and promotion of the training or education of young people to recognise the importance of Australia's maritime environment in the country's wellbeing.

Eligibility

  • Available to a current student who will be completing their first year of studies at the AMC in 2025 and is enrolling in their second year of an undergraduate degree in Maritime Engineering, or Global Logistics and Maritime Management, or Nautical Science, or Marine Engineering in Semester 1, 2026.
  • Selection will be based on demonstration of academic merit and the potential to succeed.
Students wishing to apply for this scholarship should apply for the Australian Maritime College (AMC) Scholarships

On-going Eligibility

  • Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

$5,000 per year

Up to four years
