Overview
The scholarship has been established by GJK, a national leading provider of facility services, with a strong sense of Corporate Responsibility and a Sustainability Framework, setting a goal of net zero by 2040. Acknowledging the important role that businesses play in positively impacting change, GJK aim for this scholarship to help alleviate the financial burden for Tasmanian students who want to succeed in their studies and are passionate about Sustainability.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is available to a student commencing or continuing the Bachelor of Natural Environments and Conservation or undergraduate study in any discipline with a claimed (first or second) major in Sustainability.
- To be eligible students must be a current Tasmanian resident.
- Preference will be given to applicants from diverse backgrounds, who are first in family to attend University and/or demonstrate financial, social or geographical disadvantage.
- Selection will be based on quality of written application and applicants’ potential to succeed at university.
- Preference will be given to commencing students.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
