Overview
This scholarship has been established by Hazell Bros Group, a family-owned and operated business based in Tasmania with satellite companies in Queensland and Port Pirie, SA. Hazell Bros operate with primary business functions across Civil Construction, Quarries, Concrete, Construction Material Testing, Plant Hire, Transport, Asset Servicing and Industrial Services.
The purpose of this award is to provide financial support, optional placement opportunities, and a pathway to graduate programs for talented Engineering students studying across Tasmania.
Eligibility
- Available to a current student entering their third year of study in an engineering degree in Semester 1, 2027.
- The successful recipient will be specialising in Civil Engineering.
- Selection will be based on answers to the application questions, and demonstration of involvement in the Tasmanian community in line with the values held by Hazell Brothers.
- Gender and regional diversity will also be taken into consideration.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
