Overview
This award is generously provided by the Rotary Club of Somerset to a student at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School, who demonstrates commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement.
Eligibility
- This award is available to a final year student who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine course at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School in 2026.
- Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to rural health and involvement in community engagement.
- This student must have completed their studies at the Rural Clinical School in 2025.
- Should students not progress to final year, applications received will be automatically withdrawn.
- Successful candidates will be required to speak at the Rotary Club of Somerset regarding their study experiences.
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
