The Ralston Trust has supported the University for more than 100 years, with gifts from the late John Ralston being the first gifts to the University on record. The legacy of the late John Ralston is now being acknowledged through a new undergraduate scholarship in Zoology.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is available to second year undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science, or a double degree that includes the Bachelor of Science, or another course, with a major in Zoology.
- Applications should have completed the first year of the degree including the units:
- KZA161 Biology of Animals
- and one of KPZ163 Ecology or KPZ164 Cell Biology, Genetics and Evolution.
- Selection will be based on academic merit, and preference is for a student that has relocated from a regional area to Hobart to study.
On-going Eligibility
- Maintain a GPA of 5 or above
- Continue full-time study
