This scholarship is funded by The SIDA Foundation, which was established with a charter to further the aims of the interior design and decoration professions.
Eligibility
- Available to a student who is enrolled in the second or third year of the Bachelor of Architecture and Built Environments in Semester 1, 2025 and is able to demonstrate an interest and commitment to interior design and sustainable design principals.
- Selection will be based on: a) the applicant¿¿s commitment to sustainable design principles demonstrating how design (this does not have to be focused on interior design) can play an important role in providing a sustainable society and how this may have been addressed in the applicant’s own design work (through 250-500 word statement and the portfolio if appropriate); and b) a portfolio of work that demonstrates a strong interest in interior design through the applicant’s own design work and or ideas (using visual mediums which can be complemented with written text of no more than 500 words) to be submitted to the Scholarships Office.
