Overview
The donors wish to support a student who has strong academic and career potential in the STEM area but who might not otherwise be able to fulfil that potential.
Eligibility
- This Scholarship is available to a Tasmanian student, commencing undergraduate study in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, including Applied Sciences like Health and Social Sciences.
- The successful recipient will not have previously completed a bachelor’s degree.
- Selection will be based on demonstration of financial need, and how the scholarship will help you succeed.
- Academic merit will also be considered during the selection process to demonstrate likelihood of success in chosen field.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are:
- Under the age of 25
- Enrolling into a Bachelor level Course
- First in their family to attend University, and/or
- Have experienced other forms of disadvantage
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester

$5,000 per year
Duration
Up to five years (including a separate Honours year).
