Overview
TasNetworks is a Tasmanian State-owned corporation that supplies power from the generation source to homes and business throughout the state. It was formed through a merger of Aurora Energy’s distribution low voltage network and TasNetworks high voltage network and commenced operations on 1 July 2014. TasNetworks wishes to support a scholarship at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
- Available to a student entering third year of an undergraduate engineering degree in Semester 1, 2027 who has decided to major in Electrical Power or Electrical Engineering.
- Selection will be based on academic merit and quality of written application.
- Preference may be given to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students.
- Work experience opportunities with TasNetworks may be available to the successful applicant.
