Elective scholarships for students studying in the College of Health and Medicine are made possible through the generous support of donors and the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
A number of different scholarships are available to students undertaking an elective through the College of Health and Medicine in 2026. Students applying for this scholarship will be automatically considered for any of the awards listed below depending on their area of study.
M Rushforth Scholarship
Australian Medical Association (AMA) Elective Scholarship
Amber Weatherstone Memorial Scholarship
Dr Santokh Singh Sindhu Travelling Scholarship in Paediatrics
Paediatrics Elective Scholarship
Rees Family Obstetrics and Gynaecology Elective Scholarship
On-going Eligibility
- Achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester
- Remain enrolled
