Overview
This prize is generously provided by Leidos Gibbs & Cox Australia, a naval architecture and marine engineering business, to support a Naval Architecture or Marine & Offshore Engineering student at the Australian Maritime College and encourage students who are women in naval architecture and marine engineering.
Eligibility
Awarded to a domestic student who is a woman studying Naval Architecture or Marine & Offshore Engineering in year 3 of the Bachelor of Maritime Engineering (Specialisation) (Honours), who has the highest yearly GPA result in year 3 of study, to the equivalent of full-time load of eight units. Selection to be based on the final overall result in a completed third year of study following release of Semester 2 results annually. If no candidates are eligible, then this prize may be awarded to a student of another gender.
