Dr Andrew Platts graduated with Honours in Medicine at UTAS in 1995. Tragically, he was killed in an avalanche on Mt. Tasman in New Zealand in December 2003. Family and friends have endowed the prize to honour his memory.
Awarded to a student in the final year of study in the Medicine Program and who demonstrates a portfolio of work with evidence of learning and achievement relating to Internal Medicine.
