Overview
This prize was established by Dr David and Mrs Mary Daly in 1974 to honour the memory of their son John.
Eligibility
Awarded annually to the final year medical student who presents the best essay on a topic to be decided by the selection committee and School of Medicine. The topic shall be in the broad field of palliative care and ethics in medicine.
The School of Medicine will issue an annual call for applications for this prize and reserves the right to not award a prize if the quality is insufficient.

$150 and a Medal
