Overview
Geoff Iliff a passionate guitar collector and performer has enabled the establishment of two perpetual prizes for young contemporary guitarists and songwriters at the University of Tasmania. As well as these prizes he has also donated the extensive “Geoff Iliff Guitar Collection” that contains archetypal instruments for recording and concerts, and others that are offered for use to students studying at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
Awarded to a guitar student from first or second- year in the Jazz & Popular Music stream with the highest average grade across all units for the academic year
Amount
$650 and to select a guitar from the Geoff Iliff Guitar collection to borrow for the remainder of the course
