This prize was established by friends of the late Eric Jeffrey M.A., M.B., Ch.M., a graduate of the University of Tasmania and Sydney, to commemorate his love and enthusiasm for the cause of learning.
Awarded to the student showing the greatest proficiency in the level 100 Latin units and who has not presented previously for examination and who has passed with High Distinction or Distinction.
