Overview
The Tasmanian Division of the Geological Society of Australia advance and promote Earth Sciences in Tasmania. As part of this mission the society is pleased to offer this prize in recognition of attainment of the high level skills in the practical application of rock identification and geological mapping at first year level Earth Sciences at the University of Tasmania.
Eligibility
Prize will be awarded to the student who demonstrates high proficiency in mapping skills at the first year level in Earth Sciences. Currently two units cover first year. A student must have completed both units to be eligible and will be eligible in the year they have completed both units.
