This prize was established by friends of the late David Ellerton Brown, with a view to perpetuating his memory.
Awarded for the highest score in either Australia in Asia and the Pacific (AAP315116) or Modern History (HSM315115/HSM315117) at the TCE examinations. If a tie, then awarded to the candidate with the highest ATAR. The recipient must also now be enrolled in study with the University of Tasmania.
