Flexible spaces, catering, and facilities for meetings and events.

The University Club opens at 8:30 am and serves breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. Lunch is available from 11:45 am, with the kitchen open until 2:15 pm. Reusable coffee cups are welcome; please ensure they are clean before handing them over.

Function rooms

The Club offers two function rooms for hire, with discounted rates for members and University events.

The Alan Bray room accommodates up to 40 guests seated or 50 standing and features integrated video conferencing, ceiling-mounted microphones, front and rear cameras, and Zoom on the in-room PC.

The Geoff Cheesman room, the Club's main dining and function space, accommodates up to 140 guests seated or 200 standing and includes a ceiling-mounted projector and pull-down screen.

Full day bookings are available from 9 am to 5 pm. Half-day bookings are available for up to four hours between 9 am and 4 pm.

If alcohol will be served at your event, a Club member must be present.

Not a member? Consider joining the University Club for a low annual membership fee and enjoy access to member rates. Alternatively, when making your booking, provide Pickled Pear with the name of a Club member who will attend your event.
