Aboriginal Alumni Network

Celebrating the achievements of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Alumni.

Dear UTAS Aboriginal Alumni,

It is my pleasure to announce the creation of the UTAS Aboriginal Alumni Network, a platform designed to connect and celebrate our esteemed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander alumni. The University of Tasmania is honoured to recognise the achievements and successes of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander alumni and we are committed to supporting your continued growth and prosperity.

Through this network, you will have the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, stay informed about career and professional development opportunities, and be updated on scholarships and funding opportunities specifically tailored for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who share similar background and experiences, and to collaborate and support one another in your professional pursuits.

In addition, the network provides information on opportunities to give back to the community through volunteering, keeps you informed about the University's initiatives and programs aimed at supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff, and offers access to resources and support services specifically designed to meet the needs of alumni and students at UTAS.

We are excited to see what this network will bring and are eager to hear about your successes and updates. We encourage you to become an active member of the UTAS Aboriginal Alumni Network and continue to share your inspiring stories with us.

Best regards,

Professor Greg Lehman, Pro-Vice Chancellor for Aboriginal Leadership
