MBBS Alumni Social
This event will bring together alumni at the Medical Sciences Precinct in Hobart for an evening of insight-sharing and networking. Guests will have the opportunity to connect over refreshments and hear from a diverse panel of medical professionals sharing their experiences and perspectives on the role of the Medical School in building a medical workforce for and from Tasmania.
Our panel will be moderated by Professor Ruth Kearon, Head of the Tasmanian School of Medicine, and will feature:
- Associate Professor Anthea Dallas, Director, Medicine Program
- Sewmini Idirimanna, President, Tasmanian University Medical Students Society
- Dr James Tucker, Medical Practitioner, Royal Hobart Hospital
- Professor Dinesh Arya, Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health
- Dr Michael Lumsden Steele, former Australian Medical Association President
