About the Program

Developed by researchers from the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Science, this unit covers the origins of life in the oceans, as well as iconic and 'weird' marine life. It provides insight into a day in the life of an oceanographer and explores topics highly relevant to modern society. These include technologies for ocean science, responses to climate change, threatened species, and the sustainable management of marine resources, including fisheries.
